sheesh. haven't been blogging for the past week. been really busy with work and presentations. well, there wasn't really much to talk about. except tht siew ming had her first meal in the college, sagar and i cooked pasta together, my beer conversation with sai's house mates, my micro presentation, my accounting tutorial and my mahjong session with sagar's house mates. its pretty much a lot; now tht i've listed it all out.

well, siew mind had her first college meal in school this week thanks to me. cause zong didn follow her to the capital markets lecture this week. so i asked her to join my friends and i at the break. introduced her to jeremy. tht's how they started talking about philip baxter college. looks like i'll be a regular visitor there this semester! :)

speaking of cooking, both sagar and i pretty much suck!! on tuesday, we took almost one hour just to cook a plate of pasta. and the pasta we cooked wasn't even enough for 2 person!! at least the sauce wasn't tht bad. used napoleon sauce with luncheon meat, shi'take mushrooms, and carrots. i bet nicky must be laughing at us! thank goodness the side dishes were enough to fill us up a bit!

then we headed down to sai's place for some beer. we stayed from 10 to 1. i only had 1 bottle of pure blonde. but wht amazes me is tht with some beer, we can talk from the iraq war -> nuclear weapons -> bush and politics -> australian idol -> amsterdam and drugs -> travelling -> and back to serious stuff. haha. and this is when you know tht the regular drinkers are pretty smart and intelligent. its like they know about the globe more than you do, even though they only seem to play. looks like i have to buck up! see the world a bit more, and i'll know more things.

on wednesday, i had to rush out my micro presentation. its wasn't tht bad, until i realised tht i was on the wrong path at 10ish. tht was when i was panicking. did lots of slip slop work in the end. had my transparencies printed out and all. phew. but when it came down to the actual presentation the next day, i was pretty nervous. as usual. considering the fact tht i didn have much practise before tht, i reckon i memorised my facts pretty well. but my tutor had to deduct me some marks for missing out certain points. and according to my friend , these points are not even taught till the end of the semester. CRAP. tht's 0.5 marks gone off the drain. nvm, i'll just earn it back during my test.

well, had accounting tuturial again. and i must say, the tutor has a knack of picking on me. she singled me out for the second time in as many weeks, just to answer the qns. the only difference is tht this week, i did my homework. so i know how to answer the qns. AND she said tht i have a nice handwriting. "maybe i should teach the next time". i think she's making a dig at me! HAHA.

my thursday ( national day ) was spent in a boring way. had dinner with ws, sherwin, grace, martin, khee and greg. not too bad. but it was KFC again cause i didn want pinangsia. i think i reached mulwarree at bout 10ish, and i headed straight to sagar's place. the moment i entered, his housemates asked if i wanted to play MAHJONG. they just finished playing poker, and james won all the money on the table. HA! yea, so i played mahjong, jim rummy and big 2 till 1ish. i didn even know it was so late.

went home and knocked out before 2. and as predicted, i overslept for the group meeting this morning. i think i was 20min late. going to have a pretty packed weekend ahead. till then. :)
